Every initiative has a health badge that summarizes how its linked dev items are performing — at a glance, before you read any of them in detail. The badge is direction-aware: a strong positive impact and a strong negative impact pull the score in opposite directions, even if both are statistically significant.
VEKTIS rolls up every linked dev item with a current impact score. Items still awaiting data — no measurements yet, or impact not yet computed — are counted separately and don’t pull the score in either direction.
| Dev item state | How it contributes |
|---|
| Impact in target direction (positive) | Pulls score up — stronger impact pulls harder |
| Impact opposite target direction (negative) | Pulls score down — stronger impact pulls harder |
| Awaiting data | Counted in the breakdown but excluded from the score |
| No score yet (e.g., burn-in incomplete) | Counted as awaiting |
| Label | Color | Score range | What it tells you |
|---|
| On Track | Green | High | Linked dev items are mostly showing positive impact in the right direction |
| Mixed | Slate | Middle | Results are split — some positive, some negative, some still awaiting data |
| Off Track | Red | Low | Linked dev items are mostly showing negative or no impact |
| You see | What to do |
|---|
| On Track with most items scored | Trust the signal — the initiative is delivering as intended |
| On Track with most items awaiting | Promising direction, but the signal is thin — keep measuring |
| Mixed | Open the initiative and read the dev items individually — the average hides the detail |
| Off Track with most items scored | Investigate — at least some dev items are moving the metric the wrong way |
| Off Track with most items awaiting | One or two negative items are dominating; let more data accumulate before acting |
